Jarett grew up in Shelbyville, Indiana. He completed his B.S. at Indiana State University, where he was a part of Professor Dr. Ryan Van Hoveln’s laboratory. While there, Jarett focused on organic synthesis methodology. Jarett now is at IU and is a member of the Brown group. Jarett is continuing to develop his methodology background, but now is interested in [2+2] cycloadditions as well as other areas of photochemistry. In Jarett’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife & dog, writing about watches/watch accessories, and developing his website.
